The challenge

An artist does not choose a studio by its logo. They choose it by how it sounds, what equipment it has, and how quickly they can talk to someone.

Cluj speaks more than one language. A Romanian-only site would have left out some of the artists looking for a studio in the city.

And one practical detail: the studio works on WhatsApp, not email. A standard contact form would have sent enquiries to an inbox nobody reads.

What we built

One page, in the order an artist asks their questions

The services, how a session runs, the studio, the equipment, who is behind the desk, and contact. No pages to click through and no menus to get lost in on a phone.

The equipment, on show

The full list, by category, including Neumann U87 and U67 microphones, Warm Audio preamps, a Universal Audio Apollo interface, Dynaudio and Yamaha monitors. To a musician, that list says more than any sentence about “professional quality”.

Three languages, each with its own address

rrecords.ro in Romanian, rrecords.ro/en in English, rrecords.ro/hu in Hungarian. The link decides the language, not the phone's settings: a link sent to a Hungarian-speaking artist opens in Hungarian.

The form opens WhatsApp

It does not send an email. It opens WhatsApp with the message already written: the name, the service the artist wants, and the project details. The enquiry lands exactly where the studio answers.

The decisions that mattered

The domain belongs to the client, not to us

rrecords.ro is registered in the client's name. We handle the technical side, but we do not own the address. If the studio ever wants to work with someone else, it takes its domain with it.

Company details, taken from the registry

The law requires a company's website to show its name, registered office, trade register number and tax ID. We took them from the public ANAF registry, not from a message. The check also showed the company is not VAT registered, so no VAT number appears on the site: it would have claimed a registration that does not exist.

Testimonials that do not publish themselves

Artists can leave a testimonial on the site. It does not appear automatically: it arrives by email first and is published once it has been read. Every testimonial shows whether the author recorded at the studio, and the section explains openly how they are checked. EU rules on reviews require visitors to be told this.

A mistake caught after launch

The Facebook button pointed to a share link generated by the app. It worked when we tested it and failed for some visitors. It now points to the page's fixed address, and since then every site we build links only to the fixed addresses of social media pages.

The result

The site has been live since August 2026 on its own domain, rrecords.ro, in all three languages, and it is registered in Google Search Console with its sitemap submitted.

The first security audit came back Grade A, 30 out of 30: the connection is always encrypted, the standard protections are active, and no internal file is exposed. Since then the site has been checked daily, alongside the other sites we look after.

I worked with Hunor on the website and I'm very happy with the result. He listened to what I wanted, communicated very well and was patient with every change. The site turned out really well and I'm really pleased with how it looks. I'd happily recommend him!
